ABOUT THIS PIECE

Dress yourself in the shirt that helped define palmer//harding and put it on radar for every fashionistas wardrobe. Originally designed in AW16 and called the Spicy shirt, this updated version has a gentle A-line shape that flatters everyone and a hem that buttons apart to create moving banners that dance as you walk. Classic sleeves with a large cuff finish the perfect proportions on this shirt that will earn you cool points with those “in the know”.

This style is crafted in a gorgeous white cotton poplin that has the added detail of a small off white textured stripe that runs vertically through it. Crafted in 100% BCI cotton also makes it a responsible choice for the ethical consumer.

ABOUT THE DESIGNERS

palmer//harding launched in 2011 with the simple idea to elevate the humble shirt.

We believe in originality and creativity, and these fundamentals are at the heart and soul of each palmer//harding piece.

Levi Palmer (Belton, Texas) and Matthew Harding (London, England), both alumni of Londons’ Central Saint Martins, live and work in London.

We approach each collection by examining the emotional journeys that we experience, and creating narratives through verb lists which are in turn used to drape and sculpt shapes with fabric across the body.

The sculptural aspect of the design process is an integral part of the brands’ identity - creating unique pieces, centred on the shirt, but also developed across dresses, outerwear, knitwear and other categories.
