ABOUT THIS PIECE

The Embrace blouse is really a magnificent design. Two dramatic ties sit at your shoulder and drape down the front and back. A deep V at the front and gathered kimono style sleeves create a striking silhouette while a self tie belt helps to create flattering definition at the waistline. Additionally this blouse is long enough to be worn as a short dress for summer, making it a great all round piece for any occasion.

This ivory eco-friendly viscose satin has a luxury feel with an easy care attitude. Its gorgeous handle is just heavy enough to feel luxurious while light enough to feel sensual.

INSPIRATION

Originality is found where diverse minds connect, spirits merge and ideas unite. The palmer//harding Spring 2023 collection embraces a path of introspection by the designers to explore their unique methods of creativity as a duo. Two minds with the same creative goals, yet different methods of achieving them, results in an artistic tension where new ideas are formed. Throughout this collection palmer//harding’s signature use of deconstruction is re-constructed with innovative methods of joining the garment, an analogy to the merging of their two creative minds.

ABOUT THE DESIGNERS

palmer//harding launched in 2011 with the simple idea to elevate the humble shirt.

We believe in originality and creativity, and these fundamentals are at the heart and soul of each palmer//harding piece.

Levi Palmer (Belton, Texas) and Matthew Harding (London, England), both alumni of Londons’ Central Saint Martins, live and work in London.

We approach each collection by examining the emotional journeys that we  experience, and creating narratives through verb lists which are in turn used to drape and sculpt shapes with fabric across the body.

The sculptural aspect of the design process is an integral part of the brands’ identity - creating unique pieces, centred on the shirt, but also developed across dresses, outerwear, knitwear and other categories.

Each palmer//harding piece has a unique story to tell, which can be discovered in the "About this Piece" section.
